Updated: October 6, 2026. These terms explain the intended scope of WeatherRecall and the limits of its historical-weather interpretation.
Educational scope
WeatherRecall publishes educational synthesis, archive summaries, and planning frameworks. It is not a certified forecast provider, official climate-record authority, emergency warning system, or source of personalized safety advice. A favourable historical percentage or score does not make a venue, journey, structure, or activity safe.
Data limitations
Archive estimates can differ from instruments at a particular site. Model resolution, terrain, time-zone boundaries, missing fields, and the selected historical window affect comparisons. Nearby station metadata is not proof of imported station observations. Derived prose, scores, and rankings are interpretations, not new measurements. Verify consequential claims with appropriate primary sources and current official meteorological information.
Acceptable use and accounts
Use the site without interfering with its availability or other users. Do not attempt credential attacks, bypass access controls, submit abusive content, or run automated requests that degrade the service. Keep account credentials private and avoid posting sensitive personal information in community features. Public contributions should distinguish personal recollection from documented weather evidence.
Reuse and API access
When citing results, include source, coordinates, dates, units, retrieval date, and sample limitations. Preserve the difference between a historical sample frequency and a forecast. Upstream data and externally hosted materials have their own licences and terms; availability on this site is not permission to ignore them. API availability and limits depend on the current implementation and its documentation, not a promise of uninterrupted production service.
Availability and policy status
Tools and third-party APIs can fail, change, or return incomplete data. These pages do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, future weather, advertising approval, or acceptance by a search or publisher platform. Advertising is paused pending a Google-certified CMP and applicable requirements. No legal business registration or professional credential is asserted without verification.
